@Rick_Pescatore @pedrodammert @RichLesperance are correct. PCR test is proxy for viral load and active infection (symptomatic or not). Antibody test only useful after the fact to show someone had the infection at some point in the past. PCR is diagnostic you want.
I don’t see widespread virus testing coming anytime soon to the US. I hope I’m wrong. If it does, HCW and grocery workers are at the front of the queue.
