@Orakelvanalles It’s not about the planet or survival of humanity? Just economic warfare? I’m genuinely curious as to how China is planning to save the world from US oil dominationwhile stripping the Ocean of the biodiversity that balances global carbon?
@Orakelvanalles Your theory doesn’t really compute when examining Chinese and Norwegian fishing practices though, right? Both countries are fishing krill heavily, pushing whales in Antarctica to starvation. Without the whales pumping carbon, we’re f’ed as well. So, how does that work?
@Orakelvanalles And Musk is a knowing ally of the East? He destroyed our energy transition and economy on behalf of China? Or, he’s a useful idiot?
This is where your secret global cabal ideas lose me. Yes, I understand US=oil regime that is doomed. Is Musk part of the conspiracy?
@Orakelvanalles Please don’t do that. You can’t pronounce yourself this all knowing geopolitical master and gaslight me as my projects are bankrupted and my neighbors are hurt. Please enlighten me, we had funding lined up and DOGE cut it, who did that?
Happy Butterfly Education and Awareness Day! I hope you all have a chance to spend some time watching butterflies and enjoying our exquisite planet today. ❤️ 🦋 🌎
@jaycaspiankang We hosted him a month ago to tour Rumford, a postindustrial paper mill town in rural western Maine. We’re building workforce housing and developing a mill there. He spent three hours listening and asking good questions. Right-leaning group, they loved him. He gets housing.
@GaryWinslett Ok. Your post implies that Americans are upset w/ billionaires because they can’t afford frivolous trinkets like basketball tickets. It’s your brand, wide sweeping generalizations w/ no tether to what people are concerned about. It’s your way of undercutting valid fears.
@PatCarino I am a cycling coach, own a bike shop and spend way too much time advocating for bike infrastructure.
When I am stuck in traffic, bikes trigger some deep part of my brain, they annoy me w/ their speed while I’m stuck.
Our mindset changes when we drive.
@ZaidJilani Not sure what to think. My GP hesitant business partner just texted me “that’s it?” and she has high standards. I think the actual voters in ME aren’t going to see this as anything more than people from away meddling in their election.
If he’s smart, he’d get right back out there
.@SenWarren, our for-profit utilities (Eversource/NG) here in Mass have been abusing their monopolies for decades and you have done nothing to help. Our electeds talk such a big game down in DC, but do next to nothing to help us back home. I’m a fan of yours but what gives?
@QuincyEdmundLee@OrenniaInc We could’ve avoided most of these grid/transmission issues if the utilities hadn’t aggressively blocked all distributed assets. The most efficient location to generate ⚡️is where it is used, if homeowners were incentivized to buy solar+storage then the problem is solved.
@JigarShahDC And with screwworm and drought/tariffs causing skyrocketing beef prices, this admin is proving to be a bunch of treehugging enviros. Global electrification is accelerating and the U.S. is no longer a roadblock at international conferences, because we don’t show up.
@jasonc_nc I’m in agreement except for the nuclear stuff, there’s no way to scale nuclear in time to meet demand at competitive pricing with other generation sources. Not even China can build nuclear plants quickly and Vogtle took us 17 years. Some ☢️ will get built, but not soon.
@Timodc@LukeRussert@turek4iowa Great chat about Iowa’s water quality challenges! @Timodc, my sister has a great podcast out of WWNO and did an episode about how fertilizer connects New Orleans and the shrimp industry with Iowa farmers. I think you’d really enjoy it. https://t.co/Ur7kRZ261g
