Nick Kyrgios pulls out of #USOpen:
“We can rebuild our sport and the economy but we can never recover lives lost.”
Kyrgios also slams players “dancing on tables, money grabbing your way around Europe, trying to make a quick buck hosting an exhibition.”
The Trade Bill is being debated in Parliament today. It gravely threatens democracy, public health and protection of the living world.

This is a massive scandal, perhaps the biggest so far under this government.
The secret, under-the-counter contracts given to really weird companies to deliver PPE and other pandemic services.
It needs more exposure.
Please RT and circulate. Thanks.

All these people complaining about masks, always remind me that during the legendary, mythical, oft-cited blitz in London, there were wardens whose job it was to tell people to turn out their lights. I bet those people whined about being told what to do, as well.
"Would you mind doing the absolute bare minimum to help people during this historic global event and simply wear a mask"
People who call other people snowflakes: "Absolutely fucking not"
I am happy to report that these will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you would like a “parklet” outside your premises, a Section 59 permit is required and can be applied for. Let’s give more of our streets over to people during lockdown and beyond! #SpacesForPeople
@NicolaSturgeon I don't trust the Tory's to govern responsibly on food standards, animal welfare and the environment. Not at all. This just shows more than ever that Scotland needs to get out of the union. We really need this second referendum!
Make no mistake, this would be a full scale assault on devolution - a blatant move to erode the powers of the Scottish Parliament in key areas. If the Tories want to further boost support for independence, this is the way to do it. https://t.co/Gt2b3W7X05
Positive cases in past 24 hrs back in single figures (7) after yesterday’s increase 👍. Also, another day with no registered deaths amongst people who had tested positive. Progress still good - but with significant easing of lockdown next week, we all must take care #StaySafe
This is excellent from @orkneycom - if you are planning a visit to Orkney, or anywhere else in our beautiful country, please follow this advice. #StaySafe and respect our island and rural communities.
Happy to say that we’re reopening this Monday, 13 July. For now our hours will be Monday to Saturday 11-6 (not Sunday) with entrance to the shop via Osborne Street - round the back! You might need to knock loudly. Facemasks, safe distancing and bank cards, please.
