Local authorities in the UK have centrally mandated obligations but very little influence, ability to raise their own revenue, or ability to deal with broken markets (eg. care homes, waste management). They're mostly in a bad financial state.

As demonstrated by the recent election there's very little support for that kinda of thing... not sure what Elon's on about, he's probably fixated on the US situation.

@rajivayyangar Trouble is, for most teams there's huge pressure to have a great candidate experience, support great decisions, and provide great analytics, and provide great automation to avoid wasted team time. It's competitive.
