So.. how can it be that @Sonos app is somehow getting WORSE? App can never find the system without having to be relaunched, the lag is unacceptable, more than two speakers playing same music = disaster, playlists are limited to a very small number of songs, etc, etc.
@Sonos Dear @Sonos .... please, please, please, please give iOS users the ability to go back to the "classic" app. The new one is unusable. It's not just missing features. It's sloooow and buggy as heck. I've bought five speakers over the years... #fixtheapp
@jilltucker@xianleonard I think there's a bigger story here... trying to schedule SATs within 100 miles of SF is incredibly frustrating. Kids shouldn't have to travel. Why can't @SFUSD_Supe open up a couple more schools or classrooms as testing centers?
Hey there @Zoom it now takes four or sometimes five clicks to dismiss various popups to get into my (paid) zoom meetings. Think you can chill with adding pop-ups for awhile? There are other ways to inform us of new features,
We need traffic enforcement to save lives not make money. But how long does a red-light or speeding camera take to pay for itself? A month? Two?
Police seldom write traffic tickets in San Francisco. Thatβs costing the city millions https://t.co/m3s9a4fUbK via @sfstandard
And so that I don't come off as all cranky, I'll repeat that I love San Francisco. I've raised four kids and built a great business here and I can't imagine living anywhere else.
108. That's how many speeding tickets #SFPD wrote in Feb 2024. Including zero in the northern district. Northern district wrote 1 in Jan. You could catch that many in 10 minutes during rush hour at one corner on Fell Street. Many going twice the speed limit.
I know we have many police priorities but there is basically zero traffic enforcement on our streets. One speed camera would go further than the whole of SFPD traffic enforcement. Red light cameras too. I can watch 3-4 cars run a red light every light at many intersections.
As an update... my fridge is still not fixed. I've had to stay home for three days for repairs already. @LGUS -- What are you going to do to make this right?
I bought a brand new @LGUS refrigerator. Within two weeks the fridge had died. Closing in on two weeks with no fridge. The repair is "in progress" with parts "on order". I'm trying to feed four teenagers' over here. What can you do for me @LGUS ?
@drewhouston I'm still confused. When I woke up this morning and found my account had this setting enabled by default... did Dropbox allow OpenAI access to my data or not?
All the people who are like "why is it taking so long for digital health to have exits" need to be patient. Enterprise SaaS didn't become a successful category overnight either.
" The 2023-24 calendar will be brought to the SF Board of Education for a vote at the March 7, 2023 Board of Education meeting." The school calendar should be decided a lot sooner than this. Parents need to plan. @SFUSD_Supe
