@silkmenarmy Incompetence and lack of professionalism from the club is concerning. If you're saying Macc should be trying to get the game abandoned give your head a wobble that's embarrassing from you

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@Workingrich3 @drjohnm Given the stroke risk is in single figure percentages/year that would be extremely unlucky, and unlikely to be prevented by a single dose of heparin. Doctors making themselves feel better by doing something.

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@RedfishRoots @halfatheist @PronouncedAlva A stopped clock is right twice a day

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@GregMulholland1 I don't disagree. But I think it's largely communication issue. Noone is going to make a tangible difference to people's lives in <2 years. More and more people seem to want a populist leader who's going to tell them there's rainbows and piles of gold just around the next corner.

@dxrrp2 Should be a yellow to the Wolves player for simulating a head injury. Yellow for the push.

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@CyclingForMind @itsbigjobber People turning left are likely to be able to move off the roundabout as quickly as those going straight on, so not making more congestion just putting it in the wrong place

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@AcutePete @acutemedicine @DanLasserson @_HospitalatHome @CatrionaWaitt @At_The_EQUATOR @IDIMakerere Ah would have been interested to chat Uganda. Spotted the poster, good to have an international flavour!

[michelawrong @michelawrong]

This is exactly what happens when sports organisations get into bed with dictatorships. As many of us commented at the time, the UCI should never have chosen Rwanda as a venue for the World Cycling Championships. https://t.co/LfNnvIdBLh

Wealth and power intrinsically linked. Yet we are being told 30,000 migrants are the problem with this country.

[Evan @StockMKTNewz]

A lot of big CEOs in this video 👀

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@gordonmck Those Kanelbullar look very authentic, and delicious

[Joanna Wren @1962Wren]

'You will let me finish, and then you can curse me all your life'

After speaking out from the podium at the Royal Albert Hall, #Israeli maestro, Ilan Volkov, says he will no longer perform in his home country in protest against the war in #Gaza

[Jeremy Konyndyk @JeremyKonyndyk]

If someone with a medical complication is not starving

and you cut off all food for several months

so then they're starving

the medical complication

is not the relevant variable.

This is not complex to grasp

intellectually

or morally.

Baseball commentators would have their minds blown by cricket. No gloves either!

[BBC Sport @BBCSport]

"The catch of the decade" 🤯

San Francisco Giants' Jung Hoo Lee with something you don't see every day...

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@boblister_poole Investigated for what?

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

@RalphBlackburn Yet no delay in announcing support for Heathrow 3rd runway of course @henrimurison

[Climate Dad @ClimateDad77]

Approving Heathrow’s third runway further exposes this soulless, corporate-owned-Labour government.

Equality, community, nature, our children’s - & all of our - futures, willfully decimated to grow the wealth of millionaire & billionaire shareholders.

@SaferRoadsYorks Also insufficient gap with the car in front

[Richard Mayers @rickmayers]

Starting the day with Bluey Cricket episode on CBeebies. The greatest 7 minutes of TV produced. #bbccricket

@cheseabourne Match fit?!
