@lolitataub You are supposed to pay the fee for the previous year. I wouldn’t leave to reincorporate elsewhere in the US. If they have completely left the US market, then dissolving the company may get you out of it, but some decent tax and finance advice is probably a better solution
@IanColdwater Take apart and rebuild an engine. One of the things I most enjoyed doing as a teen. My mom did it with me, and now when we get together, we can still pop open the hoods of our cars and walk through the different things we have done since last time we were together
@lolitataub Farmers markets and other local markets! If you get a local and loyal fan base there, you can scale up to boutique stores in that area. Scale gradually, testing out your ability to meet growing demands at each step
@LizTweetsTech “Parenting Forward”, “Gentle Discipline”, “Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids” are some favorites of ours. My girls are now 9 and 7yo, but they are still books we go back to
@sacca I don’t think it’s a loss aversion technique for you. I bet they on average recover 60% of charges, but that is after sending a good number of charges to collection and it’s delayed. If they can beat that considerably by taking 70% from you up front with a discount, they win
@bandholz Love this. My parents are on opposite ends of the political spectrum, and it was never weird. They both could articulate different values they have, and that their relationship is far more important than any of those things. It’s been a great life lesson
