@YuvalDavid@JNS_org this was very helpful in understanding the complexity of the current situation. It's also concerning about the doublespeak around how effective the first US bombings of Iran's nuclear facilities really were. what are the chances diplomacy can work in this climate??
Oscars shortlist, today.
Two Palestinian films.
One turns a tragic, disputed event into settled “history.”
This isn’t just a film.
It’s the birth of a genre.

It is outrageous, though unsurprising, that the UN Commission of Inquiry has joined the chorus of biased commentators willing to ignore reality in order to accuse Israel of genocide.
Israel is fighting Hamas and other groups that still hold hostages and intentionally endanger civilians, including by hiding among them and within civilian buildings in Gaza.
Yet the COI somehow casts Israel as the hostage-taker, as the party that violates protected civilian sites like hospitals, and as a ruthless force that deliberately harms innocents. In doing so, it nearly erases Hamas from Gaza and twists the truth beyond recognition.
This reckless report, like others from the COI, will further incite hatred of Israel and its people and will only make it harder to achieve a sustainable end to a conflict that has caused so much suffering.
