Women were generally only housewives back then and a lot of ethnic minorities were lacking the education to be in the position to do the job (as are 99.9% of the population then and now).

@robchapman84 @HLTCO How are Villa bigger? Is it the league titles they won pre 1900? Or the 1 FA Cup since the early 1900's. I get your better than us right now (who isnt). 😆 I cant say our trophy haul of the last 40 years outweighs yours by much but I would stand firm Spurs are bigger.
