@hosannasoffear Ed smirked and nodded. "Sounds good to me. A selective agonist should do the trick." He already started gathering up some of Jonathan's files and pulled in a notebook and pen to jolt down some notes. Actually, a challenge like this was most welcome.
@hosannasoffear On tuesday evening, as promised, Ed returned to Gotham after months of staying in London. It was good to be home, he had to admit, and he was more eager to see Jonathan again than he cared to admit. Especially what he said to him on the phone. --
@hosannasoffear Ed shrugged, hesitating and avoiding Jonathan's gaze. But in the end he did have to come out with it. "You know how I feel about harming minors. Could it be the older one?"
WARNING: It's that day of the year again where Ed hates everything and everyone and he is his absolutele worst self. Do not go near him unless you absolutely have to and only mention father's day or anything related to fathers in general if you are prepared to die immediately.
@hosannasoffear Personally other people's suffering had never really been enough of a motivator for him, but he knew this was the case for Jon and its not what he took issue with. It was the key word 'young' ward.
@hosannasoffear Ed picked up one of the books and paged through it but he stopped and looked up at Jonathan a bit concerned at his answer. "Which one?"
@hosannasoffear Ed frowned at Jonathan. Curious. He usually didn't mind telling him what the plan was. Unless...
"I won't leave any clues this time, if that's what you're worried about. This is your plan, not mine. You say I could have a part in the endgame. Shouldn't I know what it is then?"
@aBTFLmonster@rustysharklaw @LawFear90 @hosannasoffear "Agreed, my friend. We should rectify that situation. I'll try to bring Jonathan along so he understands my enthusiasm."
@hosannasoffear Normally he'd hate to have to work with someone else, but Jonathan had always been an exeption to the rule. If anything, he was looking forward to it.
"Ah yes, the endgame. And what might that be? Is this devious little plan of yours designed for anyone specific?"
@hosannasoffear Ed shrugged and shot Jonathan a small smirk. "I know what you like."
Still, the idea wasn't exactly what he was expected. Developing a slow release implant was easy. But one with remote access... A challenge.
"The more control I better I take it? I could try my hand at that."
