To my generation,

There comes a moment in the life of every generation when it must choose between comfort and conscience. For us, that moment has come again.

In July, we stepped out onto the streets and a union minister resigned. We have done this before.

In 1942, the British arrested the leaders before dawn, believing a movement dies when its leaders are taken. It did not. The young carried it forward and ended the Raj.

Today, Modi-Shah's playbook is the same: close the roads, call it illegal, detain people before they speak.

So our answer will be the same as the young of 1942. If any of us is stopped tomorrow, the one standing beside us carries it on. If that one is stopped, the next does. This movement belongs to every one of us.

Years from now, someone will ask what we did on the 10th of October, when the trains stopped, the roads were sealed and a nation was told to stay silent.

Let our answer be one we are proud to give.

We hold Amit Shah directly responsible for the violence inflicted on our students. He authorised the firing on our students, authorised the use of lethal weapons, and authorised the use of pellet guns against them.

That's a fundamental issue. We do not accept our security forces shooting at the future of India. This is going to be a major issue in Parliament.

धर्मेंद्र प्रधान द्वारा अपने इस्तीफे से ठीक कुछ दिन पहले पांच कुलपतियों को  एक साल का  विस्तार दिया। इनमें से ज्यादातर RSS से जुड़े हैं।

चौंकिएगा मत, इनमे से एक कुलपति के खिलाफ पीएम मोदी के नाम पर बनी एक फर्जी संस्था से जुड़ा है जिसकी जांच सीबीआई कर रही है।

एक दूसरे कुलपति पर गंभीर आपराधिक धाराओं में मुकदमा पंजीकृत है।

एक वीसी के खिलाफ पीएमओ ने जांच की संस्तुति दी थी। आइए जानते हैं कि धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के द्वारा सेवा विस्तार का लाभ पाने वाले कुछ कुलपतियों का रिकॉर्ड -

•⁠ ⁠मुख्य विवाद उनकी नियुक्ति को लेकर था। एक याचिका में आरोप लगाया गया कि उनकी नियुक्ति UGC Regulations, 2010 के अनुसार नहीं हुई।

◦ महेंद्रगढ़ कोर्ट ने सिंह के खिलाफ IPC की धाराओं 420, 467, 468, 471 के तहत FIR दर्ज करने का आदेश दिया।

•⁠ ⁠छात्रों द्वारा कुछ अन्य प्रशासनिक अत्याचार के आरोप भी सोशल मीडिया पर आए हैं, लेकिन मुख्य मुद्दा नियुक्तियों का है।

•⁠ ⁠आपराधिक मामला: अलंद MLA बी.आर. पाटिल के अनुसार नारोना पुलिस स्टेशन में उनके खिलाफ गंभीर प्रकृति का क्रिमिनल केस दर्ज है और चार्जशीट दाखिल हो चुकी है।

•⁠ ⁠भर्ती में घोर अनियमितताएं:
◦ 100+ शिक्षण पदों पर कथित रूप से कर्नाटक के योग्य उम्मीदवारों को नजरअंदाज कर आंध्र/तेलंगाना के तेलुगु भाषी उम्मीदवारों को प्राथमिकता।

◦ Article 371(J) के तहत कल्याण कर्नाटक आरक्षण का उल्लंघन।
◦
◦ PRO सहित अन्य नियुक्तियों में गड़बड़ी का आरोप; राज्य के चीफ सेक्रेटरी ने केंद्र को जांच के लिए पत्र लिखा।
