At the #NCCI2025 conference at George Tech. I took a tour of their student center yesterday, and the guide kept mentioning “the institute.” I almost asked him what that was until I looked up the school on Wikipedia and realized that was the name of the university.
Today—Earth Day 2025—a new urban trail across Boston green spaces is born. The City On The Hills Trail, which runs 31.1 miles from Millennium Park in West Roxbury to Castle Island is officially open to the walking public!

Does anyone else prefer interfaces that use date and time stamps rather than “1 min ago”, “1 year ago”, etc? I definitely find that kind of labeling annoying on YouTube.
I gave in to the discount and signed up for X Premium with half the ads. I immediately noticed that 50% ads is indistinguishable from 100% ads. I have no doubt there really are fewer ads, I think it’s just psychology thing—my feed (and mind) are either interrupted by ads or not.
