The most dangerous bias among vaccine scientists is their unshakeable belief that vaccine injury is rare. That assumption blinds them to the evidence of widespread harm staring them in the face. When data shows widespread harm, they don’t follow the data — they twist it, dismiss it, or explain it away, making the data fit the faith or, if they can’t make it fit, they bury it. And when a scientist steps out of line and publishes data showing widespread harm, they go on a rampage to retract the study, get the scientist fired, and engage in a smear campaign.
