GOLD in INR (Blue)
GOLD in USD (Red)
NIFTY in INR (Green)
INDA (India etf) in USD (Blue)
NIFTY is a great investment if you are INR denominated investor
NIFTY is a bad investment if you are USD denominated investor.
Purchasing power of currency matters more than the underlying return on asset if you are a global asset allocator...
I do not understand the logic of some people posting their advice on remaining on cash and waiting for the major dip. No seasoned investor would do such blunders.
It's a futile effort to time the market and be part of the daily movement until you are playing part of the index.
Investing is based on stocks and its valuation and more of your perception on how the business is going to be based on its future earning potential. Some of the stocks which have recovered from its low may not come back to the same range as smart investors would have already found them attractive in those ranges.
Nifty has been in the range 23400-24300 for the last 2-3 months, it may continue to remain so the range may change a little down or upward. My above message will hold true unless there is a black swan or an event like Covid resurface..
I will continue to remain as a stock specific investor rather than being an index based investor and pure depend on its movement.
