@TrevorJain I don't think the general public understands how rampant bullying by administration is in the healthcare system. As a patient, I've seen it firsthand, & have had the administration actually come to me about the things that I have said on social media about the bullying I've seen
@TrevorJain I have a chronic illness and went 4 years without a family doctor after my doctor retired. My mother went 10 years without one, only just getting a family doctor in the last 2 months.
@Tim_Banks@ChtownPE Isn't there already an MRI clinic in summerside? Does Charlotte Town always have to compete with Summer side for shit? It's just dumb.
@SeanCaseyLPC How many of those tech jobs are going to be filled by disabled workers? My guess would be none. As a disabled person on pei, I have been looking for work since 2019. I've had many interviews, but I've never been hired. Got to wonder why that is.
@Tim_Banks@ChtownPE As someone who needs accessible affordable housing, I can say that there isn't an overabundance of it. People with disabilities don't have $2,000 a month to spend on an apartment.
@Tim_Banks@A_Elliott_ You're probably also buddies with that a-hole Danny Murphy. Anything for you and your buddies to make more money and screw the people you hurt. They're just plebs anyway, right?
@TrevorJain@alandrummond2 You will be that mentor to the next generation, sir. I'm sure that there are many students out there now who would love to work and learn alongside you.
@LouiseMartinCBC Are they really trying to say that the monks and the nuns are criminals? I knew this island was xenophobic, but this is getting a little ridiculous.
If it is so hard for businesses to find workers, how come there are so many disabled folks like me, who are highly educated, but have been searching for years for work? Seems kind of fishy to me. (3/3)
@LouiseMartinCBC so I was watching your interview with the lady from the Small Business Association of PEI. As a person with a disability in this problem who has been looking for work for 6 years, it was disheartening to hear this lady saying that workers are hard to find. (1/3)
I have been saying for a very long time that businesses who have trouble getting people to work should throw a wider net, and stop discriminating against people with disabilities who apply for jobs. (2/3)
@McDonaldsCanada I'm not able to get into the Monopoly game. When I press the play now button, nothing happens. I've cleared cashe & forced stop. I've also checked for updates but there aren't any. The only thing I haven't done is reinstall the app, which I'd rather not do.
@Tim_Banks I'm not a developer, nor do I have the money that you do. If I did, I would be building as many affordable accessible housing as possible for people who are low income, like myself. I am also disabled, and have chronic illness. I'd never be able to afford any of those apartments.
@LouiseMartinCBC Silver is better than a poke in the eye with a sharpstick. I think we can take that. Very good effort for those ladies. They have nothing to be ashamed of.
@UPS_Canada I received a package today that, as far as the emails were telling me, required a signature for delivery. The driver left the package on the doorstep without even ringing the doorbell, so they never got a signature either.
