Children were never meant to be raised by just two people and it's deeply selfish and problematic as a society that we've completely lost community and interdependence is seen as something to shame. It does take a village, parental isolation should not be the norm. We need to go back to when we all had enough empathy to look after each other and lose the egocentric "not my child, not my problem" attitude

Everyone is dunking on this look, but a few small changes could make it a lot better. Some suggestions:

1. Shirt: Instead of a black cotton button-up, which can make you look like a waiter, try a more casual fabric. So, instead of a smooth twill, try needlecord or rayon. And instead of a basic spread collar shirt, try a snap-button Western.

2. Pants: Instead of generic black pants in a slim, low-rise cut, try something a little more directional. Wrangler Wranchers have a 1970s bootcut. If you're feeling spendy, Husbands Paris has a similar cut but in a higher-end wool (the Wranglers are pure polyester). And next spring. Bryceland's in Tokyo and London is coming out with a bootcut in various fabrics, including a very Johnny Cash-y black sateen.

3. Jacket: Most outfits benefit from having some kind of finishing layer, which often means a jacket. Try a denim or suede trucker jacket. I personally like ones that are inspired by Lee's 101J, where the flapped pockets slant upwards towards the shoulder joints. This differs from the more standard Levis Type III (although, those are good too).

You can see how very small changes in the fabric (needlecord vs plain cotton), styling (Westernwear instead of generic club clothes), and the addition of a jacket totally change the look.
