These are the #tornado shelters mapped out in relation to the threat area Friday and Saturday, as well as zooms in to the areas of greatest concern.

Now is the time to know where they are, so you have yourself ready in advance. Map at https://t.co/8ZOmFso9M9. #severe

8:55 AM: The risk level has increased to a Level 3 out of 5 across southern portions of central Alabama. This is not for an increase in the tornado threat (though that is still present) but for indications that damaging winds will be a bit more widespread in those areas.
