On 17th September, while the nation wishes PM Modi a happy birthday, the All India Mahila Congress marks the day differently,as a reminder of the women still waiting to be heard.
Manipur continues to burn. Displaced women are still waiting to go home, to get justice, to feel safe again. Rising prices are hitting household budgets run by women. And millions of women across India remain without meaningful work.
This is why we observe 17th September as #NarendraModiAntiWomensDay — a call for accountability, not a birthday snub.

50 lakh people across Bihar are battling devastating floods without adequate food, shelter and basic necessities.
But Bihar’s CM seems busy enjoying himself while the people suffer.
Bihar deserves urgent relief, accountability and leadership not indifference.

It has been more than three years of #BJP rule in the national capital, yet the reality of India’s development remains unchanged. Huge public spending cannot hide misgovernance or failures on the ground.
The #G-20 and #BRICS summits exposed the gap between the government’s grand claims and the ground reality of India’s development. The BJP must stand by its promises and deliver results—not make hollow promises.

Manipur cannot be allowed to bleed in silence.
Reports of two Kuki-Zo women being killed and several people missing in Tamenglong are deeply disturbing. If confirmed, every death demands justice, and every missing person deserves to be found.
For more than three years, Manipur has remained trapped in violence, fear and division. Yet the Modi Government continues to speak about “normalcy” while families continue to suffer.
Prime Minister @narendramodi and the BJP owe Manipur more than silence and political statements. They owe the people peace, security and justice.
Enough of the politics of division.
Enough of the suffering.
Bring the violence to an end. Protect every community. Restore trust. Bring Manipur back together.
Peace is not a political favour. It is the right of every one in Manipur

Enough bloodshed in Manipur. The reported killing of Kimboi Singson and Chonga Sitlhou of Leisang village, Tamenglong, is deeply disturbing. Civilians—especially women and children—must never become targets. We urge all armed and warring parties to immediately stop the violence and protect innocent lives. 🛑✋🏽 #Manipur #StopTheKillings #ProtectCivilians
No more one-sided Mann Ki Baat. India’s youth deserve a government that listens.
While Modi ji speaks at the people, Rahul Gandhi ji is ready to listen to students.
📍 Chhatron Ki Goonj | Indore
🗓️ 19 September
Feedback boxes across the venue will give students a direct platform to share their concerns, ideas and dreams with @RahulGandhi.
Because education policy cannot be written without listening to those whose futures are at stake.
Students don't need lectures. They need representation, opportunity and a voice in shaping India's future.

The brutal murder of Chongtham Vikram Singh was a terrible shock for us all.
The horrible politics of hate and discrimination snatched away a kind and brilliant soul like him.
I joined @RahulGandhi ji in conveying our condolences to his family and well wishers in this moment of utmost grief.
Will the BJP’s corrupt system be paid for with the lives of students? 😡
PM, CM, MP, MLA, MCD—every level of governance is under the BJP. Yet, who will take responsibility for the tragic deaths of students in the PG building collapse? Accountability cannot be buried beneath the rubble.
My heartfelt condolences on the passing of Smt. Temjenmongla, a dedicated and committed Congress worker.
She served as President of the Mokokchung District Mahila Congress from 1992 to 1997 and as an Executive Member of the Nagaland Pradesh Mahila Congress from 1998 to 2023. Her long association with the party and her contribution to the Mahila Congress will be remembered.
The photographs with Sonia ji, Rahul ji, and the then Mahila Congress team of Nagaland reflect her long journey with the Congress party.
We will miss a leader who remained committed to the party throughout her years of service.
My condolences to her family and loved ones. May her soul rest in peace.
In-charge, Nagaland Mahila Congress
The truth about the #Modi government is deeply troubling. Its failures, broken promises, and growing political divisions raise serious questions about governance, accountability, democracy, and the future of India. @INCIndia@INCManipur@saptagiriulaka@christilak@meghachandra_k
The merciless lynching of Chongtham Vikram Singh ji, a well-known musician from Manipur, by a mob is yet another chilling reminder of the utter lawlessness under the BJP.
Students are unsafe. Women face atrocities every day. People from Northeast India face discrimination. Dalits, Adivasis and minorities remain highly vulnerable.
Under HM Amit Shah’s watch, Delhi has become a crime capital, with the NCRB recording highest levels of crimes in the national capital year after year.
My deepest condolences to the bereaved family. They deserve justice, and those responsible must face the strictest action.
The incompetence of the Modi Sarkar has left the people of Manipur suffering both within their state and outside it.
When will people from Manipur finally feel safe?
They are not safe in Manipur.
They are not even safe in Delhi.
Will the Prime Minister finally open his mouth about the violence and insecurity faced by the people of Manipur?
@crpfindia CoBRA was meant to protect civilians, not turn their own hometown into places of fear.
CoBRA’s high-handedness in #Saikul is deeply disturbing. Civilians are hospitalised, some reportedly fighting for their lives.
Security forces are meant to protect, not terrorise.
The senseless murder of renowned musician from Manipur, Chongtham Vikram Singh ji, in the heart of Delhi is a national shame. He was brutally beaten and murdered only for asking some people to make less noise.
Is this what it’s come to? Is there no safety for a young father even at his own doorstep? Justice must be done. The Delhi Police must immediately take action against those who committed this murder. This is the national capital, we cannot allow violence to rule our city unchecked.
My heart goes out to Vikram ji’s family. We will stand with you in your fight for justice.
