Glyndebourne / Gleesons proposal for 200 houses between Lewes Road and Potato Lane [LW/21/0986] went to Ringmer Parish Council on Tuesday 11th. The Council recommended refusal, for a number of reasons. More detail will be forthcoming.

- The development would have a strongly negative landscape impact, in particular on the setting of the South Downs National Park (Potato Lane is the SDNP boundary).
- The proposed access is ridiculously inappropriate, especially for HGV construction traffic.
