This Evernote debacle is so concerning.
This is whey we need community owned products.
This whole thing has made me so grateful I switched to @obsdmd and have my notes stored on my drive and not on a cloud.
Was right to be concerned when they got bought over.
The skills that will be most important for AI have nothing to do with AI:
Listening, asking questions, coaching, delegating, providing feedback, meta-level guidance, self-awareness, empathy, understanding human nature
Wow this @evernote loyalist exit is looking way worse than I realised.
I started my PKM journey with them before I moved to @obsdmd, saddened to see what's happening with it.
Why would you alienate decade long loyalists, and send them away to discover how good other apps are?
youre not putting your music onchain. youre not putting your media onchain. youre likely not even putting your artwork onchain. but you ARE making tokens with project/creator specific metadata, thinking about alternative methods of decentralized storage, establishing contract & asset stewardship, and experimenting with identity and inventory on the internet of value and i think thats beautiful. ๐๏ธ
It's great to see more people talking about holistic ambition โ a broader understanding of ambition that includes quality of life not just career success. To live a good life, contribute good ideas, and nurture good relationships... that's ambitious too.

if ur offering a service, u rely on clients to tell u what makes them happy
if ur a creator, u rely on followers to tell u what they wanna consume
community owned is the biggest hack ppl don't take advantage of
Itโs not your job to provide a single narrative for your community.
Instead, provide people with building blocks to tell their own stories:
โข purpose
โข ownership
โข incentives
The sum of these stories is your collective narrative.
Less top-down control, more diverse POVs.
Web3 brings the new customer acquisition playbook. Simply pushing your ads in hopes they'll find users doesn't cut it anymore.
Focus on building a strong community, content, and partnerships pipeline.
Paid marketing acts as an amplifier, not a driver.
