@R_N_Vaghani Arey the question is still valid.. rich farmers, professional and businessmen should pay taxes. For eg lawyers and doctors accept cash payments to avoid taxes.

@mainbhiengineer And when he buys anything, he will be paying 18% GST on average as indirect tax. So 68% of his salary is being pocketed by our lovely government 😊

@jasveer10 I agree that their salary should be increased, then they might not be tempted to become corrupt. But that alone isn’t enough. We must simultaneously punish corruption harder. Also, we need way more civil servants created each year. They artificially keep their numbers low

@jasveer10 All civil servants I know drive Mercedes, BMWs on retirement. They live in the poshest of colonies, so I doubt this is their true salary. And your argument on perks is so lame- a private sales person also needs a car to meet her clients, but she buys it out of her own money

@suritalreja By paying taxes, we are not doing charity. The Govt owes us public goods & services. We have a right to hold them accountable for it. It’s the same logic as buying a bag of namkeen, a private good, & expecting to find it filled.

@jain_harshit If I get unemployed, I will not even get a food stamp for a day. The poor get subsidies and ration, the rich businessmen get tax rebates. We pay for both classes. In its tax policy, I must say the govt is very anti hardworking and educated people.

@NalinisKitchen It’s only in India that men have a big problem with giving alimony. Everywhere else, it’s a widely accepted practice, including the West. Here a woman’s character is questioned if she asks for it, as if she married & did household work out of charity.

@1shankarsharma Agree with you except the UPA being great. It had to go. We couldn’t have had Rahul as our PM. Govt was anti- business then & now. Look at our pathetic FDI rules- companies need to fight for a minimum 5 years in India before they can seek arbitration internationally

@KalyanKBiswal I too used to fight with my parents that they shouldn’t boil milk because we learnt in school it’s pasteurized. I was even taught at school that we should drink water from our taps because the municipal corp ensures it’s ready to be drunk. Borderline fell for that

Yesterday, paid Rs 400 for matcha only to realize half of the cup was filled with ice. The strawberry chunks were stuck within the cubes & I had to wrestle them out. The tea overall was so watery. Isse acha to ghar pe baithke ice cubes kha leti, zyada maze aate😭 @TimHortons

@harshalpatil233 I am so scared of buying a car looking at the road conditions, petrol, taxes etc. Roads are pathetic in Gurgaon & there is no public transport. There are so many problems in transportation in general- would love to protest on this one.
