@v0xium Hang in there. We are still obsessed with PR counts, token usage and model benchmarks. Eventually we’ll talk about defences against slop grenades.

We were celebrating horsepower and top speeds when cars were invented. Drunk driving laws & seatbelts came after decades of wreckage

[Rishi Dua @rishirdua]

@Striker__9 @suvsh Argh, those are the worst. If I could, I would temporarily suspend Claude licenses for regular offenders.

[Rishi Dua @rishirdua]

As a manager, I’m seeing far too much burnout among our highest performers when they have to deal with the "slop grenades" or "meat proxies" around them.

[Shane Parrish @shaneparrish]

Lazy work used to mean too little output.

Now, with AI, it often means too much and more work for everyone else.

@tobi call it "slop grenades."

A "Slop Grenade" is when you let AI produce the work and pass it on without adding any value (including checking it).

Someone else has to wade through it, catch the mistakes, and clean up the mess.

You save time and look productive but someone else pays for it.

@GergelyOrosz Many good engineers burn out thanklessly fixing AI slop produced by engineers that have stopped thinking.

@WorkFlowy Thanks! Verified that works

[Rishi Dua @rishirdua]

Hey @WorkFlowy I love how I can search for things I need to do today / this week / this month. Is there a way to search for "overdue" tasks to see what I missed? Thanks!

[Rishi Dua @rishirdua]

@GoodLifeFitness @therealyolojojo Thanks! Will stay away from joining then
