Many people don't realize that my disability is largely invisible. Along with this, I also deal with chronic pain, which adds another layer of complexity to my daily life. While I might appear to move around without assistance, there are tools and devices that play a crucial role in my day-to-day activities. For example, chairs are not just for sitting; in my case, they're essential for showering safely and comfortably, especially on days when the pain is more intense. Similarly, gadgets like electric can openers are more than conveniences—they're key to my independence in the kitchen, allowing me to prepare meals without exacerbating my pain.

My walker is another vital tool. Although there are days when I can manage without it, there are also times when it's indispensable for mobility and stability, particularly when my pain is at its peak. It's important to understand that the needs of individuals with disabilities can vary from day to day, and having access to the right tools and support is crucial for our independence and well-being.
