Inspired by @victormustar AI video → sprite workflow, I built my own tool to automate the part I hated doing manually. 👀

It works with any AI-generated video — I'm using Grok here because it's cheap and gives me great results.

My workflow:

🎬 Generate a 60 FPS walk/attack cycle on magenta
🛠️ Drop the video into my tool → hit AUTO
🔍 It detects where the motion repeats most closely and finds the cleanest loop
🎮 Export the sprite sheet → give it to any AI coding agent → implement in-game
The video shows the entire process: AI video → clean loop → sprite sheet → actual animation running in my game.
If enough game devs are interested, I'll clean up the tool and release it free + open source.

Cool MiniMax-H3 use case unlocked for game sprites creation, here's the workflow:

1. one character design still, on a flat magenta background
2. one 5s H3 clip per move (walk, jump, punch, kick, block...)
3. cut each clip down to its pose extremes
4. key out the magenta, pack into a sprite atlas

wire that to a state machine to make it playable (8 moves, ~$5)
