The Pentagon just revealed its $152 billion 2026 spending plan.
Here's why it's going to make me rich.
$1.3 billion was specifically allocated to expand unmanned underwater vehicle production.
Including the Dragonfish LDUUV for INDOPACOM.
Plus $1.5 billion for small unmanned surface vessels AND $2.1 billion toward medium unmanned surface vessels.
This isn't a proposal. This is a signed spending plan delivered to Congress today.
Now think about what this means for $KRKNF.
Kraken is sole sourced into nearly every serious Western UUV program.
Anduril, HII, Rheinmetall, Teledyne, Kongsberg. Every major platform runs on Kraken batteries and sonar.
When the Pentagon writes a $1.3 billion check to expand UUV production, that money flows through the primes directly to suppliers like Kraken.
The US government just confirmed the demand signal in writing.
$1.84B market cap. $1.3B in sector commitment from just one government, in one year.
We are so early to this trend.
$KRKNF Krakheads have spotted what appears to be a new Anduril UUV in the Quonset lineup.
Not (yet?) listed on Anduril’s site.
Size-wise it looks larger than Dive-LD, smaller than Ghost Shark XL, potentially a new mid-class platform.
Bigger hull usually means more battery, more endurance, bullish $KRKNF / $PNG.V.
Finding moving AUVs is hard enough, but when they sit on the seabed and wait, like in this video, they are virtually undetectable. It’s basically a rock in a sea of rocks. Near zero acoustic signature, no wake, no obvious kinematics.
We also have USVs (unmanned surface vehicles) that sit in containers, hiding in literal clutter on the seabed, and then float to the surface to launch.
Even detecting roving AUVs is hard enough and it doesn’t scale because they're hard to reliably spot at range. And even when you do get a contact it’s often intermittent or ambiguous. So clearing an area like a shipping lane is an absolute grind because you still have to go close in to reacquire, classify, and confirm.
It gets much worse when you layer in very cheap decoy drones littering those same lanes. Then you don’t just have a detection problem, you have a prosecution problem. You’ll be flooded with plausible contacts that force you into slow, expensive clearance ops. And until you’re comfortable the waters clean, you can’t send ships through.
And sea drones can carry a lot larger payload than aerial drones, especially if they’re willing to loiter and wait.
Even low tech decoys become a maritime denial threat, and it’s not hard to imagine shipping lanes getting flooded with them.
Sea drones are an asymmetric warfare nightmare.

Lockheed Martin just teased "Lamprey"
It's a subsea drone that latches onto ships and submarines like an eel, hitching rides to operating areas.
It can launch aerial drones, torpedoes, and decoys, or just sit on the seabed waiting.
This is extremely bullish for underwater autonomy as a whole, but it's very possible $KRKNF will grow and profit on this program.
Kraken's sonar was previously integrated into LMT's Marlin AUVs.
Lamprey should follow that precedent.
Kraken MAY supply batteries too, but I really don't think they have the capacity with what they need to get done for Anduril.
