For most of my life growing up I was told the Bills would eventually leave Buffalo. Was told the market was too small. There weren’t enough big corporations or big enough money to keep a team. NFL owners would want to bolt to a bigger market as soon as they could.
The opening of the stadium tonight means something far deeper than just an awesome new football stadium to many of us.
It means the Bills are still here, and staying here. It means another generation can root for the BUFFALO Bills, and keep doing that, for many years to come.
We’re here. We’ve made it. We’re not going anywhere.
Enjoy tonight, #BillsMafia ❤️💙🦬🏈
Besides the 70-point butt Kickin’ by Notre Dame last year…that’s one of the worse games of the Fran Brown era as far as I am concerned! Angeli is not good, mediocre coaching and 13+ penalties for 110+ yards is not good!!!
@JeremyWGR Fair point! That’s the price of building an intimate, 'football-first' stadium. They stacked the seating bowls to trap crowd noise. A few obstructed views are a tough tradeoff, but it’s going to make the stadium deafening. The chip on the shoulder remains!
While it was fun to watch this team this year, I gotta say…Thompson and Dahlin playing with the puck too much in OT cost them this game! Shoot it!!!
