True AI native workplace is extremely rare. But once you have seen it, the perspective on work changes.
Have seen many leaders and IC feeling this but not knowing what to do.

Reasons include:

1. Realizing the role they were hired into is just a sh*t one to do right now. Thanks to AI, often unrealistic expectations

2. Realize the company they hired doesn't have a future/strategy to come out winning w AI

3. Realize they will not get the AI-native experience they know they need to get to thrive long-term, and the setup won't allow them to get it, so it would be career suicide

@readwise seems to have cracked this. People have 1000 days plus streaks of reviewing their book marks.

Pocket was shut down by Mozila last year despite having 30M registered users.

Omnivore, the beloved open source alternative of Pocket was also shut down by ElevenLabs.

The bookmark/read later product segment is a graveyard of “successful” but failed products.

The problem is even after using these tools, people don’t come back to bookmarks. So the user retention must be the biggest challenge.

IMO the root cause is that, even though people call them bookmark apps they are really not like physical bookmarks.

A physical bookmark helps an avid/regular reader to comeback to the book and jump on the last reading page quickly. It never made someone who is an occasional reader to read more.

Claude Fable 5 will be available again globally tomorrow.

After a series of productive conversations with the US government, we're redeploying the model with a new set of classifiers to target and block more cybersecurity tasks. In the near term, some routine tasks like coding and debugging will fall back to Opus 4.8. We’ll continue to refine these classifiers over the coming weeks to reduce false positives and better distinguish genuine misuse from legitimate requests.

We’ve also begun drafting a consensus framework—with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other Glasswing partners—for assessing the severity of AI jailbreaks and how AI developers should respond to them. We invite other industry partners and model providers to join us in this effort.

Finally, we’re scaling up our collaboration with the US government on model testing and safeguards. This will include pre-release access to models and safeguards for evaluation, information sharing on jailbreaks and misuse, and dedicated resources for joint research.
