Today, we're launching @belvedir_ai
We're making private AI models cheap and easy so the world can have trillions of them.
Private AI models are cheaper, better, faster, and protect your data from frontier labs, but they're still to expensive and difficult to make for startups and consumers.
Belvedir makes private AI models autonomously with less than 5 minutes of setup, so that private AI can finally be accessible to everyone
@neelsomani Very wrong, many existing power consuming facilities will be converted to support LLM workloads, there is more than enough power in the U.S. Grid interconnect and provisioning is 10x more of a bottleneck.
The world would be very different without Homer.
Alexander the Great kept a copy of the Iliad under his bed and felt he was a reincarnation of Achilles. He conquered more than half of the known the world.
Julius Caesar looked up to Alexander the Great, and even cried under his statue. At his age, Alexander's empire was at the height of it's dominance while Caesar was a politician. Caesar would have never became emperor and the Roman empire would have never flourished to the extent that it did.
Augustus, Caesar's son made Virgil write a new Roman version of Iliad to create a stronger, uniform culture for the empire.
Napoleon, who looked up to Caesar would have likely not even became the emperor of France and conquered Europe, which would significantly have changed the world map today.
@andrewho03 This just goes to show revenue from non-api product surfaces will be ever important - anyways whoever has the most compute and memory after RSI will win. Labs are more or less properly priced.

@bindureddy Why has no one heard of Jevon's paradox lol, plus if this was true, OpenAI or Anthropic would just steal this, nothing is novel in this world.
@samhogan@cesullivan99 I think Wall Street knows about Jevon's Paradox lol, they learned after AI consumption exponentially increased after Deepseek released their first open source model and all of them lost money on the short.
