It's laughable how Dhurandhar fans think Aditya Dhar is some genius who has made his name in the international cinema circuit with Dhurandhar and its sequel. Shows how little they know about cinema.

Nobody can deny this fact that Dhurandhar 2 will be the highest grosser film in Hindi cinema. But that doesn't mean Aditya Dhar will be someone who will inspire filmmakers across countries.

Martin Scorcese, Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson have all admitted to be influenced by Satyajit Ray's cinema. A chase scene in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday inspired Danny Boyle to include a similar chase sequence in Slumdog Millionaire. This is what influence means when your work inspires filmmakers across countries.

To even imagine that Aditya Dhar's work would even enter these circuits is laughable. No matter how much crores you earn.

1. Evidence does not justify the claims of the anti-equity agitators.
2.Indian campuses are characterized by caste, therefore require a conscious effort to build values that promote harmony. American universities have special courses on civic education to unlearn the undemocratic belief the students might have cultivated through socialization in family and society. They attempted to prepare students to be better-informed citizens-to engage with the values of liberty, equality, individual worth, opn-mindedness and willingness to collaborate for a common good.
3. The arguments of anti-equity agitators are presumptuous. The Supreme Court should base its judgement not only on legal considerations, but also on insights from studies on discrimination. Otherwise, the regulations will become counter-protective for the very groups they seek to protect.

State's retreat from MGNREGA has to be seen as final admission that the 25 year 'rising/shining' era is now officially over. Centre cannot afford MGNREGA anymore despite possibly severe political costs.

Dont foresee big street protests (could be wrong). Like Demonetisation, COVID-- the marginalized will quietly factor this into their calculus & bargain for better securities/welfare (which too state will struggle to afford & hence retreat from more spaces)

As this shifts, elites will whine & try to exit India even faster. The next 10 years will be the story of the 'great leaking', a slow but sure year-on-year deflating-- a leaking balloon that cannot righted.
