The slimmest of silver linings on the grey cloud that is this season - I wrote about a few young players who have caught my eye over the past couple of years. Here's to hoping a few of them (and others) break through and take the chances they otherwise might not have gotten๐ฝ
With ISL clubs not filling in their foreign player quota due to finances et al, an unexpected opportunity presents itself to young Indian players to make an impression...

The rules as designed currently are not ideal and anti-competitive to an extent but that doesn't take away the need to regulate financial behaviour of clubs
This bipartisan lens of FFP is naive. The point is to prevent clubs going bust from owner mismanagement, like Portsmouth, Leeds, Dortmund, etc nearly did
Consider City don't win 2012 and 14 (a matter of 2 results) and the owners decide to dump the club? The club doesn't survive
Minerva Academy owner Ranjit Bajaj criticises the method of Toni Kroos youth coach & current technical director of RFDL Robert Roelofsen who follows player development method over result oriented method in Grassroots
"Students who do not use AI outperform those who do, on average, by around 20 points - equivalent to bring around one year of schooling ahead"
Clear negatively impact on learning but I guess we still need to pander to the tech overlords by saying how students use AI matters
How students use #AI matters for learning.
According to the latest #OECDPISA, students who use AI for specific schoolwork tasks, such as summarising texts, tend to perform less well in science than students who do not.
The findings vary depending on how AI is used ๐งต
@cricketingview xG is a measurement. A football match is not an "upset". There is no "upset" in a sporting contest. The "upset" are invented by observers and are fictions. They do not describe sport.
Economists pride themselves on their rigor and empirical methods.
This week, @bijurao argues this creates distance between the studier and the studied - and is one of the key problems with economics.

Trams + BRT expansion were the answers to tier 2-3 cities' public transport issues. Now we're stuck with these corrupt metro projects which are just expensive white elephants. The best case is still to cut your losses and abandon these projects, they will never be remotely useful
Travelling in the Jaipur Metro, people are going to city centre as its sunday and Tej celebrations. In my honesty opinion we need a lighter metro construction for such tier 2 cities and jaipur must have a N-S connection. But it should focus on low emission zone and BRT.
Maybe explore monorail for North-South line
These doomer takes are as good as supporting the govt. If you cannot have hope for change after seeing the mobilisation today, you do not believe in change yourself. The outpouring of dissent is far more important than whatever the 'leaders' of the protest say or do
whatever anti-bjp wave we're seeing right now will pass soon bec you folks have collective amnesia about issues that have affected the public. you're gonna dust your hands and go back to your safe homes, then vote for bjp again because nobody fucking wants to see bjp lose power
@zaeendesouza Let's just say he has the right motivation but the wrong methods, also a big PR merchant. Almost none of these international tournaments are even 11v11
Such a proud moment for the club. Weโve seen this boy grow up over the years and itโs been such a wonderful journey to witness. Not an easy one by any stretch of imagination, but the one filled with hope for so many others watching.
Man, it hurts so much not seeing this guy play in the ISL regularly
I get from his pov why he's in the position that he is in but he deserves more game time and can be incredible for other clubs. He is so clear of every Indian striker right now but we just don't get to see it
