AI-generated infographics usually fall apart the moment you zoom in.

Tiny unreadable text.

This is one of the first open-source models I’ve tested that actually holds up under scrutiny.

SenseTime’s new SenseNova U1 Infographic model can generate surprisingly polished infographic layouts with:

• clean visual hierarchy
• readable dense text
• accurate chart rendering
• structured multi-column layouts
• and even academic-paper style formatting

The interesting part isn’t just the design quality.

It’s that the numbers inside charts and tables now match the prompt far more reliably — which has been one of the biggest weaknesses in AI-generated infographics.

The upgrade is pretty significant:

IGenBench Q-ACC jumped from 51.3 → 69.5
IGenBench I-ACC improved from 4.2 → 17.0

But honestly, the real difference is visual.

6: GET THE MOST MP OUT OF YOUR PHONE

Settings → Camera → Formats → Photo mode → 24mp

This will give you the highest megapixels from your phone and most modes will actually double to 48mp.

This also gives you leeway to recompose and crop in post production. Cheeky little bonus.
