The press conference began at 10:00 hrs and is still ongoing, with no indication of concluding soon. While we are not attempting to rival President Zelensky's historic 12-hour press conference, today’s event is a clear demonstration of president @MMuizzu 's administration’s commitment to transparency.

I thank Prime Minister @anwaribrahim and the Government of Malaysia for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to me and my delegation during my Official Visit to Malaysia.

Both governments had highly productive official talks. I am pleased with our in-depth discussions on enhancing development cooperation on a range of issues and fostering people-to-people connections. The Maldives and Malaysia enjoy friendly bilateral relations and exchanged Memoranda of Understanding on Tourism, Sports, Health and Exchange of Notes on Bilateral Consultations and Diplomatic Training.

The government is committed to strengthening cordial relations and looks forward to working together towards the betterment of both countries.
