Thanks to all the colleagues who contributed (@NicoleUoB, @aleksmonka, @rizasiregar3, @uob_bear, @Richardwrhood and many more). It was a fun experience, and I found very satisfying to know that they had a great time and enjoyed the activities and visits we planned.

Last week went particularly fast. My group and I hosted two @in2scienceUK placements of year 12 students. I was truly impressed by how bright they were and how quickly they picked up things and offered revealing insights about academia and the people in it.

Congrats to @rizasiregar3 , who I supervise together with @DrSoroosh and Dr Mike Jesson. She just did a fantastic presentation of the combined numerical and experimental work we carry out with anaerobic baffled reactors in @SchoolofEng_UoB at the #iahr2022 conference.
