@thomascjones@pir3111@BachmannRudi And yet republicans won't agree to that because they benefit from it more. They just hate losing at their own game, especially when that game is cheating.
The least respectable people in GOP politics aren't the lifelong Trump sycophants, but rather those who challenged him early, saw it hurting their careers, and then sold out for the false promise of a comeback.
The United States has spent EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS fighting and policing in the Middle East. Thousands of our Great Soldiers have died or been badly wounded. Millions of people have died on the other side. GOING INTO THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE WORST DECISION EVER MADE.....
Twenty years ago we invaded Iraq. The war killed many innocent Iraqis and Americans. It destroyed the oldest Christian populations in the world. It cost over $1 trillion, and turned Iraq into a satellite of Iran. It was an unforced disaster, and I pray that we learn its lessons.
I think it’d be great if the Ayatollah were killed and the Iranian regime removed and the Iranian people made free and civilians across the region made safer than they were before all that takes place.
The problem here is that I’m old enough to remember what happened the last time the U.S. ventured into the Middle East without much of a coherent plan for what happens after the bombings stop.
And it wasn’t politicians starting that war and the journalists enabling them who paid the price.
It was our military and innocent civilians who did.
You’ll have to forgive me if I’m not inclined to think this is a good idea.
A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for Dick Cheney and a vote for war, war and more war. A vote for Donald Trump is a vote to end wars, not start them. We are at a historic crossroads. Our God-given rights are under attack. Now is the time for us to stand together, for love of country, and for Donald Trump to get us back on the path to peace, freedom, and prosperity.
