Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time, and creating a more sustainable future calls for action on many fronts.
At ITC, one way we're doing this is through green buildings—reimagining the spaces we live, work and stay in to be more sustainable.
As part of our decarbonisation journey, we've invested in green buildings across hotels, factories, warehouses, residential and office complexes. Today, we're proud that 40 of these buildings are LEED® Platinum certified.
But what exactly makes a building green?
The answer lies in a range of multi-dimensional practices—from enhancing energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energy, to conserving water, improving indoor environmental quality, using recycled or low-carbon materials for construction, deploying passive cooling technologies, and designing buildings for longevity.
Together, these practices help create buildings that are better for people, and better for the planet.

ITC Mangaldeep: ‘They See With Their Noses’
Mangaldeep has unveiled its new ad film, bringing its visually impaired fragrance testers in focus. The film uses a friendship story to spotlight Mangaldeep’s Sixth Sense Initiative.
The film unfolds through a quiet exchange between two friends, bringing to life a larger message—of the extraordinary capabilities of the visually impaired testers who form part of the Mangaldeep Sixth Sense panel.
Mangaldeep’s Sixth Sense panel comprises of visually challenged individuals, working as testers for its range of incense products, and playing significant roles in the creation of unique fragrance varieties. The initiative has opened up employment opportunities for them as well as enables them to live with dignity.
By relying on individuals with heightened sensory perception to refine its fragrances, the brand shifts the focus from just the product to the process behind it—celebrating expertise, inclusivity, and the craft of fragrance creation.
The film reflects Mangaldeep’s commitment to inclusive innovation—driven by the people who make its products more authentic, and a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful senses are the ones we don’t always see.
Take a moment to pause, listen, and experience it differently.
Watch the film.

ITC is the first company in India to receive the global FSA (Farm Sustainability Assessment) 3.0 Silver benchmark in wheat & paddy.
At its core, this means ITC’s Wheat & Paddy sourcing clusters have been independently audited against globally recognised FSA 3.0 framework by the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) Platform with 190+ member organisations, dedicated towards advancing sustainable agriculture in the food chain.
The FSA framework is widely used by global food and agri companies to assess, improve, and validate on-farm sustainability. It covers agronomy, natural resource stewardship, environmental protection and labour conditions. This milestone was achieved by working closely with 3,500+ farmers across 70+ Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, bringing smallholder and fragmented farm operations—spread across 22,000+ acres—under a single, transparent, and traceable sustainability standard. It reflects the consistent on-ground adoption of better farming practices, along with stronger documentation and traceability. This has been supported by ITC’s Climate Smart Agriculture Programme and the phygital capabilities of ITCMAARS.
Beyond the recognition itself, this effort strengthens trust and transparency in the supply chain and creates a stronger foundation for farmers to participate in differentiated, sustainability-linked markets—reinforcing ITC’s commitment to building transparent, resilient, and farmer-centric value chains, while scaling sustainability with credibility and impact.

@ICCCBengaluru@GBAChiefComm@Zcyelahanka2240@Shathabish_S Heard you on CNN about setting accountability for road infra. In the complaint above, the assigned official has expressed inability to do anything about the road due to a land dispute. The road has become an hazard to the citizens, needing immediate attention!!
@Nrj0422@ICCCBengaluru@GBAChiefComm@Zcyelahanka2240@Shathabish_S It is surprising that a legal issue involving a few people can be used to cause harm and discomfort to the public at large. I’m sure no court of law can allow inconvenience and hazard for general public for a pending dispute!
