The lovely drivers that we get to share the "bicycle route" with.
That's 56km/h in a 30km/h zone, passing on a single file street, running all the stop signs, and turning right on red at a no right on red.
I'm a sucker for wild west songs. This one found me recently and is a melancholic beauty. Reminds me of Ondaatje's Billy The Kid collection. https://t.co/tLE9ERID6O
Watching a Canadian national newscast that has had four major segments on climate-related disasters without mentioning what is causing the climate crisis. Same newscast later featured segment with Conservative politician complaining about making polluters pay for carbon 🤷🏽♂️
Charles was such a kind and loving soul. So much passion, and his films reflect his unstoppable energy. Unarmed Verses is a true classic of Canadian cinema.
Breaking: Canadian filmmaker Charles Officer died Friday after lengthy illness. Just 48, the director (and one-time pro hockey player) burst onto scene with NURSE.FIGHTER.BOY in 2008, going on to deliver groundbreaking works THE SKIN WE’RE IN, UNARMED VERSES and AKILLA’S ESCAPE.

@michaelwinter34 Check out some Adam Curtis for a 180 degree take on narration in historical docs. Score too. So much more engaging, even if at times overwrought.
In 2014 I made this film about a place where Pele has a spot waiting for him to stare over the soccer field of his youth for eternity. Premiered at @TIFF_NET, and also features music by Owen Pallett.
