As per clause 6(1)(p) of the Cable Television Networks (Amendment) Rules, 2021, only periodic briefings by designated officials are permitted during anti-terror operations. All this underscores the importance of having radio available on mobile phones. This isn’t to diminish the role of other media, but rather to emphasize that during disasters, radio can be immensely helpful. Let’s make it accessible by enabling it again!
