Hon CM of Andhra Pradesh Thiru @ncbn avl in his press meeting in Chennai made it clear that the women’s reservation bill was not anti-South or anti-small states. It is a bill that provides a 50% increase in seats, with 33% reserved for women, and ensures no state loses representation.

He also pointed out that Congress has repeatedly opposed women’s reservation in the past, including when the bill was introduced under former PMs Thiru Deve Gowda avl, Thiru Atal Bihari Vajpayee avl, and later even during their own Govt too.
