May we reach Common sense Intelligence some day !!

When watching livestream, I was just thinking somewhere someone with https://t.co/NzEiPqhEVa or https://t.co/u5Hg6ZTB6r will be very fortunate and sell it to bigger fish.
And it was already done by musk, just bought in july. 🤣

Sachin x OpenAI
It seems OpenAI still needs more data from India.

[Sachin Tendulkar @sachin_rt]

I’m excited to announce my partnership with OpenAI. We have some interesting things coming up, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

I’ve always been curious... One question usually leads to another, and ChatGPT has certainly encouraged that habit. But it has also proved useful when I’ve needed to get things done, like planning my last trip with the family.

That’s what I’m looking forward to with this partnership. Discovering what else I can do with ChatGPT, sharing what I find useful, and encouraging more people to give it a try with something they care about.

A question, an idea, something you’ve always wanted to explore. There are so many places to start.

Looking forward to exploring together.

I think India accidentally built the internet’s greatest nostalgia archive.

It started with one barbershop.

Now there are websites for truck journeys, chai tapris, regional songs, 90s cartoons, pan shops, bus rides and basically every piece of desi life you forgot you missed.

> https://t.co/GH9QuwYunn → ₹20 haircut + 90s barbershop bangers

> https://t.co/1MG24W55lW → Horn OK Please at 2 AM

> https://t.co/KbvIwPBU3H → Classic truck radio

> https://t.co/HdD5jubQgW → UP Parivahan nostalgia

> https://t.co/6hjRNCAirz → Missing home + Marathi classics

> https://t.co/BANAbuZPyz → Soft Tamil night drive

> https://t.co/xwxRyQN2Fj → 2000s Kannada childhood unlocked

> https://t.co/crdYmXGUWM → Pure Kannada nostalgia

> https://t.co/a3gWUaO7px → Sindhi lada, full volume

> https://t.co/zaX4ov0ZpE → Old Punjabi Bluetooth-memory-card songs

> https://t.co/X9AmyYpCv1 → Bihar bus journey core

> https://t.co/w676HEEG27 → Gujarati chachar chok

> https://t.co/kJcffs7BFQ → Mazdoor anthem energy

> https://t.co/WWbE0PjGVN → Cutting chai + plastic stool

> https://t.co/0lzs44brad → Chai ki tapri classic

> https://t.co/ttUYsY5dy5 → Long-distance bus uncle playlist

> https://t.co/Ij0ge45Onr → Roadways bus vibes

> https://t.co/VwExVWy1HB → Mistri / construction site radio

> https://t.co/b6PmEPGNaf → Auto wala, full volume

> https://t.co/7YvIImffu1 → Pan shop corner energy

> https://t.co/DnF8JMQhzx → Deluxe saloon upgrade

> https://t.co/l7lllxIK8q → Dhaba + full thali mood

> https://t.co/o4sgCk4NxY → Qawwali mehfil, late night

> https://t.co/eKvjd2LypA → Gali walk + old Bollywood

> https://t.co/qy4hneF2Dc → Interactive truck + 90s bangers

> https://t.co/3lMURmJPet → 90s cartoon theme songs

> https://t.co/Mrewbn0slC → 80s–90s gali nostalgia

> https://t.co/yt4Ao1OTqM → Another cutting chai classic

> https://t.co/gGyBf2nkUu → Cutting chai special

> https://t.co/7mL6WU4z4a → Another truck-radio gem

> https://t.co/X9AmyYpCv1 → Bihar Parivahan Nigam bus

> https://t.co/w676HEEG27 → Gujarati nostalgia

> https://t.co/kJcffs7BFQ → Mazdoor radio

And somehow, every single one feels like a tiny time machine.

The internet is weird.

One day it's another AI wrapper.

The next day someone builds a website that makes you remember sitting at a chai tapri, travelling in a UP bus, listening to songs from a Bluetooth memory card or getting a ₹20 haircut in 2007.

Internet is actually beautiful sometimes.

Drop the desi nostalgia website I missed in the replies.

Let's see how deep this rabbit hole goes. 👇

The future of AI is personal.

Everyone will have models that understand their context, preferences, and goals — built around them, not the average user.

Personalized models will become as normal as personal computers.

From 6 fingers on one hand to 95-minute full feature films - AI has come a long way.

[Higgsfield AI 🧩 @higgsfield]

Tomorrow we premiere Hell Grind in Cannes.

It's a first 95-minute AI film, made entirely on Higgsfield.

The budget was under $500K, with $400K going to compute.

The first 25 minutes needed 16,181 generations for 253 shots.

A traditional film would cost from $50M.

Filmmaking is changing.

[Sam Altman @sama]

We are launching a new app called Sora. This is a combination of a new model called Sora 2, and a new product that makes it easy to create, share, and view videos.

This feels to many of us like the “ChatGPT for creativity” moment, and it feels fun and new. There is something great about making it really easy and fast to go from idea to result, and the new social dynamics that emerge.

Creativity could be about to go through a Cambrian explosion, and along with it, the quality of art and entertainment can drastically increase. Even in the very early days of playing with Sora, it’s been striking to many of us how open the playing field suddenly feels.

In particular, the ability to put yourself and your friends into a video—the team worked very hard on character consistency—with the cameo feature is something we have really enjoyed during testing, and is to many of us a surprisingly compelling new way to connect.

We also feel some trepidation. Social media has had some good effects on the world, but it’s also had some bad ones. We are aware of how addictive a service like this could become, and we can imagine many ways it could be used for bullying.

It is easy to imagine the degenerate case of AI video generation that ends up with us all being sucked into an RL-optimized slop feed. The team has put great care and thought into trying to figure out how to make a delightful product that doesn’t fall into that trap, and has come up with a number of promising ideas. We will experiment in the early days of the product with different approaches.

In addition to the mitigations we have already put in place (which include things like mitigations to prevent someone from misusing someone’s likeness in deepfakes, safeguards for disturbing or illegal content, periodic checks on how Sora is impacting users’ mood and wellbeing, and more) we are sure we will discover new things we need to do if Sora becomes very successful. To help guide us towards more of the good and less of the bad, here are some principles we have for this product:

*Optimize for long-term user satisfaction. The majority of users, looking back on the past 6 months, should feel that their life is better for using Sora that it would have been if they hadn’t. If that’s not the case, we will make significant changes (and if we can’t fix it, we would discontinue offering the service).
*Encourage users to control their feed. You should be able to tell Sora what you want—do you want to see videos that will make you more relaxed, or more energized? Or only videos that fit a specific interest? Or only for a certain about of time? Eventually as our technology progresses, you will be should to the tell Sora what you want in detail in natural language. (However, parental controls for teens include the ability to opt out of a personalized feed, and other things like turning off DMs.)
*Prioritize creation. We want to make it easy and rewarding for everyone to participate in the creation process; we believe people are natural-born creators, and creating is important to our satisfaction.
*Help users achieve their long-term goals. We want to understand a user’s true goals, and help them achieve them. If you want to be more connected to your friends, we will try to help you with that. If you want to get fit, we can show you fitness content that will motivate you. If you want to start a business, we want to help teach you the skills you need. And if you truly just want to doom scroll and be angry, then ok, we’ll help you with that (although we want users to spend time using the app if they think it’s time well spent, we don’t want to be paternalistic about what that means to them).
