My friend announced on LinkedIn last month that he is a tech founder "building the future of AI powered solutions for the new age digital economy,"
and when I called to ask what that meant he told me he had built a full stack SaaS product in a weekend using Claude, the product is a chatbot that summarizes emails, the chatbot is the ChatGPT API with a gradient background he found on a Dribbble post, he is charging ₹4,999 a month for access to this gradient.
He currently has 2 paying customers, one of them is his father who does not know what a SaaS is but is very supportive of his son's journey, the other is a real estate agent from Surat who thought he was signing up for something related to property listings and has not noticed the charge for 3 months because it comes through as "DISRPTR TECH SOLUTIONS PVT LTD" on his statement and he assumes it is a toll fee.
He has a pitch deck. The pitch deck is 16 slides. 11 of those slides are about the market opportunity, which he has identified as "the global enterprise software market," a market worth $700 billion.
And he is entering this market with a gradient and an API key he has not yet been billed for because he is still on the free trial and has not figured out how to enter his card details, which means technically his entire business is running on Anthropic's goodwill.
He has pitched 23 investors. All 23 have said no. He describes this as "the process" and posts about it every Sunday night at 11pm with a photo of himself looking exhausted at a laptop, and I know for a fact the photo is staged because he told me he retook it 4 times because in the first 3 he didn't look tired enough, he was not tired from building anything, he was tired from the photoshoot, he went to bed immediately after and slept for 9 hours.
He is speaking at a startup event in Bengaluru next month. The event is called "Founder Zero: Igniting the Indian Startup Spirit."
His talk is called "From Idea to Impact: My First 90 Days as a Founder." On day 91 his free trial ends. He does not know this yet.
He has 24 slides prepared. The last slide is just his logo, very large, centered, with the word "INVEST?" underneath it. His friend Nikhil said the direct ask felt aggressive so he added a question mark. The question mark has not made it less aggressive.
Nikhil knows nothing. My friend knows nothing. 40 of the 60 registered attendees are his college friends who got complimentary passes.
The remaining 20 are real founders who will sit in the back and check their phones. I will be in the front row. I am going to ask a question about unit economics. I have been preparing for 3 weeks. I love him very much...
Hear me out,
Time travel might not be for visiting the past but like a supply line into it, tech and ideas sent back a generation and each era bootstraps the next so the loop never needs a starting point? Like sending technology and knowledge backward, skip the dead ends, compress centuries of trial and error into years
We could already be standing inside one. It's called bootstrap paradox
Spotted a free CTF Challenge that just went live, built by @saferinternetpr x e2cyber, and it's not a beginner one!
Forensics, AI prompt injection, and more. No idea how long it stays up.

i have talked to the sarvam marketing team several times and i have 1 thing to say to them that i couldn’t. GET YOUR MARKETING RIGHT. your product team did a fabulous job. now you owe it to them. BECOME FUCKING VISIBILE. stop being chindi. no one, literally no one knows you.
I work on TSIP's growth so I'm biased, but I've also seen inside this thing for months, which is exactly why I'm comfortable saying it loud:
Nothing in Cybersecurity Training comes close. NOTHING.
People who couldn't get an interview callback six months ago are sitting in live client engagements twice a week now.
Actual scoping calls with an actual business on the line, and at the end a client signs the report. not a lab grading you, a CLIENT.
and there's this thing that happens where someone shows us their first invoice screenshot and we all celebrate it like it's a wedding.
I've watched it like 4 times now and it gets me every time.
Most underrated program in the Cybersecurity Industry by a stupid margin: The Safer Internet Project.
5 certs, 0 job offers - Most common CV in cybersecurity right now, The gap is that nobody lets you near a real engagement until you've already done one.
We fixed the loop: Members sit in live pentests on actual businesses, 2x per week
Verstappen never even made it out of lap 1, track surface gave up before the race did and somehow a 19 year old is about to win monaco for the 5th time.
I don't know what else to tell you...
BRUH, the track literally crumbled and took leclerc out, verstappen's engine died on lap 1, norris retired again, and kimi is sitting in P1 waiting for the restart like he ordered a pizza, WHAT ARE THEY FEEDING MA BOI?!
