I am travelling in a train in 2AC coach where the journey is 36 hours long and I’m writing this while being locked in the toilet.

Just 30 mins back, I had got an urge to poop. I went to the closest western toilet and saw someone was already inside.

So I went to the other side of my coach and as I opened the doors of the western toilet, I got a sudden smell of hell.

I held courage and went inside only to see the toilet seat filled with water till its neck with poop floating in it.

I rushed outside then went to a different coach’s western toilet and this time, I was relieved as it was empty and relatively cleaner.

I went inside and noticed there was no lock on the door. It was broken. But thankfully, they had put a temporary rusted lock so I used it.

After that, I pooped and relieved my stress. I happily held the jet spray and as I pressed its button, the water started leaking from its neck.

My pants and legs got soaked in water and now I cannot go outside because everyone will think I peed on my pants.

Thank you Indian railways. I had got an impression from social media that Indian trains have improved but today I’ve got a reality check.
