When it comes to observed things collapsing to a state when it could be many… it’s really just us vibrating forward and backward in time measuring different outcomes until we land on the one we expect… which might not necessarily be the one we want. 3/3
Okay. What if time really is just a dimension that we can move backwards in… if we willed ourselves to move back in time we wouldn’t hold context that we did because our memories are in fact physical things that revert as we travel backwards. 1/3
Naturally this means that we never remember that we travelled backwards and make exactly the same actions we did before and nothing changes. In the very few times where an outcome that’s different and better we’d experience it as simply luck. 2/3
I don’t think that this should be a hot take… but if we don’t want a world where humans are completely replaced by robots… maybe we shouldn’t be so excited about making human shaped robots.
If there ever was a thing called American exceptionalism.
It’s gone now.
This election is really the proof of that. We as a country have decided to step back as a leader of the free world.
It makes me sad but that’s where we are.
This seems pretty significant. I can see how this would be super useful but I’m not sure I necessarily like that it’s doing this. I guess time will tell.
