Massive environmental damage!
Mangroves — nature’s coastal protectors — are being illegally cut for salt works.
No clearances, no accountability.
Who will act before it’s too late ?
@NGTIndia @PccfS @Mulubhai_Bera @DEFCCOfficial @FAOForestry @NASAEarth @rashtrapatibhvn

[Ramesh Lakhnotra @RLakhnotra]

Today’s rain flooded 3–4 villages — water has entered homes.
All 3 rivers blocked by illegal salt bunds of Laxminarayan Salt.
Mangroves destroyed. Nature warned. We ignored.
Now lives are at risk.

Respected @CollectorAmr
The same illegal salt bunds that blocked 3 river flows have now caused severe flooding in 3–4 villages incl. Ningala-01.
Due to water pressure, parts of those bunds are broken — clear proof of their impact.
Request urgent site investigation.

🌿 International Mangroves Day
Today, world celebrates & protects mangroves but in Ningala-01, mangroves have been bulldozed to make way for illegal salt pans, bunds & river blockages - destroying nature & risking flood disasters.
Will authorities act?

Repeated alerts, no action yet.

Illegal salt bunds blocking 3 rivers still threaten flooding in 3–4 villages incl. Ningala-01.
Even last year, bunds broke under pressure — clear warning.
@CollectorAmr act before monsoon.
