A Catholic priest died by suicide. And his death raises a heartbreaking question: Who takes care of the priest who spends his life taking care of everyone else? ⤵️
Father Bernard Card, a priest in Dijon, France, reportedly died by suicide. His death shocked those around him. And while we may never know what he was going through, his death reminds us of something many Catholics forget.
Your priest is human, too.
Think about it. Your priest hears your confessions, listens to your problems, comforts you when someone dies, and reminds you to trust God when life feels hopeless.
But have you ever wondered what happens when HE feels hopeless?
He may preach about God's love while struggling to feel loved himself. He may spend hours listening to people's pain, then return to an empty room with no one to talk to.
And the saddest part? Sometimes, he feels he can't tell anyone because everyone expects him to be strong.
But a priest is human, too. He gets tired. He feels lonely. He can suffer from depression. And wearing a collar doesn't make that pain disappear.
So please, the next time you see your priest, don't just ask him for a blessing or a favor.
Ask him, "Father, how are YOU doing?" And really listen.
Because sometimes, the person who comforts everyone else is the one who desperately needs comforting.
And if you're a priest reading this, please remember something.
You don't have to carry everyone's pain alone. Asking for help doesn't mean you've failed God. Even priests need friends, rest, and professional care.
Your life matters, not because of how many people you serve, but because you are God's beloved son.
And there's one more thing every Catholic needs to know. The Church does NOT teach that everyone who dies by suicide automatically goes to hell.
The Catechism says, "We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives." (CCC 2283)
We don't know what Father Bernard experienced in his final moments. But we can entrust him to God's mercy.
So tonight, please pray for him. And pray for every priest who may be silently suffering.
Lord Jesus, comfort Your priests who are lonely, strengthen those who are exhausted, and give those who are struggling the courage to seek help. Have mercy on Father Bernard, forgive his sins, and welcome him into Your eternal peace.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
And please remember this the next time you see your priest. He may spend his whole life reminding you that God loves you. But when was the last time someone reminded HIM?
🙏 Please stop to pray at least 1 Hail Mary for the repost of his soul and for all priests. Let me know in the comments if you were able to say a prayer ✝️

Stuthof Concentration camp , May 9 , 1945.
Stutthof concentration camp was located in a isolated, marshy region of the Vistula River delta near Gdańsk.
The camp had been defended until the final moments of World War II because it was trapped within a heavily fortified pocket controlled by remnants of the German Army Group North.
Cut off by land but ordered by Nazi command to fight to the absolute end, German forces fiercely held the surrounding delta and the Hel Peninsula to delay the Soviet advance.
Because of this stubborn military resistance, Stutthof remained under SS control until the very day of Germany's unconditional surrender, making it the final concentration camp liberated by the Allies.

When Katie Zacharia was asked where she passed the bar exam her response was “I moved to China!” It sounds like she never passed the bar exam in any of the 50 states, yet claimed she was an attorney! You are NOT an attorney unless you have passed the bar exam. She sounds like another Gym Jordan who never passed either!
One cannot take an American state bar exam in China. Bar exams are administered at designated testing locations in each state of the union.
Are Katie Zacharia and trump lying when they say she is an attorney?
If not, then she needs to disclose in what state she passed the bar.
The FAA rolled out a new AI tool for air traffic control in DC without publishing a safety evaluation or sufficiently consulting labor.
@RepAprilDelaney and I are urging the FAA to stop the rollout until we have answers. Air traffic control leaves zero margin for error.
BREAKING: New White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia, introduced by Trump as "an attorney," has deep ties to China, working in Beijing for years at Chinese law firm Zhong Lun.
Zacharia was asked today where she passed the bar exam and in which U.S. state, she replied: “When I moved to China."
There is no record of admission from her to practice law in any of the 50 U.S. states or D.C.
After graduating in 2011 she moved to Beijing and spent roughly two to three years there, working as an associate at Zhong Lun, a major Chinese firm, which routinely acts as counsel for Chinese state agencies, state-owned enterprises, and cross-border transactions tied to Chinese government.
In 1988 Trump bought a $30M yacht, three helicopters for $21M, Plaza Hotel for $390M, Mar-a-Lago for $7M, a controlling interest in a casino for $79M,The Taj for $273M and an airline for $365M. The year after he visited Russia. Coincidence? https://t.co/77gCHVqdVZ
This farmer found 421 tires illegally dumped on his land, so he sent every single one back.
In 2020, English farmer Stuart Baldwin discovered a huge pile of dumped tires on his property.
He checked his CCTV footage, identified the person believed to be responsible, and gave them 3 days to come back and clean it up.
They didn’t.
So Baldwin loaded all 421 tires onto a truck and delivered them straight back to the person’s front door and garden.
His response quickly went viral, with people divided over whether it was perfect justice or taking matters too far.
The essence of the ‘Golden Rule’ is straightforward: treat others as you would like to be treated.
This timeless principle rings especially true when dealing with those who have wronged us, serving as a reminder that actions inevitably come full circle.
