Over the last few months, I’ve been working on a little project with the ABC here in Australia to help people visualise their exposure in data breaches. This has just gone live today and I reckon they’ve done an amazing job, check it out: https://t.co/K0QXip1Je2
@LisaForteUK @Jake_MooreUK @Google@SeanWrightSec@PhilipIngMBE This is really useful at defining the core requirements of AI Chatbots - great writeup. The hallucinations are concerning though, as if they don’t believe you when you say “nope, try again”.
@Jake_MooreUK I think @SmashinSecurity covered this recently. It involves an interaction/conversation that gets the phone to restart and then the user has to enter their passcode, even if biometrics is enabled. Then shoulder surf and bingo
@LisaForteUK Agreed, more the opportunistic than the dedicated. Of course, everyone else's information will be a lot easier to track now, which could be a motivator (wink), but to dress it up as child safety sounds more like a simpsons episode.
The interesting dilemma with Twitter and 2FA is that well over 95% of users don’t use it AT ALL. So the fuss over the small percentage that do use SMS and not auth apps may be overrated. Hopefully the noise generated will make some of the 95% at least look into auth apps.
