Let me tell you what just got reported, because you will not believe it until you see it laid out.
The Trump administration cut a billion-dollar tungsten deal with Kazakhstan. Tungsten is the metal we need for missile warheads, fighter jets, and computer chips. Trump himself got on the phone to close it. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick worked it from the inside, sending letters, leaning on the Kazakh president, lining up as much as $1.6 billion in federal financing.
Within weeks of those negotiations, investors tied to a firm partly owned by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump took a 20% stake in an entity connected to the very same Kazakhstan project their father was negotiating. Around that same time, Cantor Fitzgerald, the firm run by Lutnick’s own sons, raised $210 million for a partner in the deal and pocketed the fees.
The fathers set the policy. The sons cashed in.
Six days after the Trump sons and their partners moved their money, Lutnick signed the final deal.
The reporting found one or both families have financial ties to at least 14 companies working with the government on critical mining deals.
The total federal funding flowing toward those companies tops $8.9 billion.
This is your tax money.
It is supposed to secure our supply chains and protect our troops, not pad the portfolios of the President’s children and the Commerce Secretary’s children.
This is the most corrupt administration in American history. It is not close.
We must keep digging, and keep asking the questions they do not want asked. Republicans in Congress are unwilling to lift a finger. Mike Johnson is running a protection racket.
Either we will end the corruption, or the corruption will be the end of us.

The family of a child who was repeatedly raped by a man who Ken Paxton let off with no new jail time is speaking out:
“The fact that Attorney General Ken Paxton allowed this man to get away with molesting and sexually abusing [our] son for three years is completely disqualifying.
Adam Hoffman could have faced life in prison. Instead, Ken Paxton and his office offered him a deal that kept him off the sex-offender registry and included no new jail time.”

Sen. Warren demanded answers from Asst. Sec. of Defense for Health Affairs Keith Bass about ESI’s conflicts of interest in the TRICARE program. She pointed out 9 million servicemembers were suffering and taxpayers were overpaying because:
• Approx. 13,000 pharmacies have left the TRICARE network because of Express Scripts’ under-reimbursement practices.
• Express Scripts was paying its own pharmacies an average of $484 more per generic prescription than the pharmacies it does not own.
She explained that ESI acting both as the TRICARE PBM and a network pharmacy “gives Express Scripts an incentive to under-reimburse all of the competing pharmacies and inflate its own payments.”
Opinion: If Americans want to meaningfully curb gerrymandering, they must pursue structural reforms that make such manipulation far less effective. https://t.co/4YSGToeyMS
Keep posting this so people don’t forget how truly bad this event was.
Don’t let people gaslight you into thinking it was peaceful and worthy of 1500+ pardons and slush fund payoffs.
🧩 Gerrymandering is hurting our democracy. Proportional representation is a solution!
What is we had multi-member districts with fair representation? Imagine is we could make gerrymandering essentially pointless. No more drawing lines to pick your voters. Voters pick their representatives.
🗨️ How would fair representation impact your local or state government? 👇

@Trevornoah@ianbremmer@Trevornoah I enjoyed this new episode. Being a Texas resident though, I had to explain the “Six Flags”. It started in Texas and named Six flags for the various flags that have flown/ruled over the state. Spain, France, Mexico, republic of Texas, confederate states, and American.

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire.
It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane
It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs.
Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ?
Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us.
Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.
