@schadjoe Whatever. It would make zero sense for the MLB to do that. There a lot more games and way too many cities deal with bad weather in April. The field will be ready enough by gametime and the weather will be nice for the rest of the weekend series
@schadjoe What are you talking about? The Rapids play games here in February, March, and April. You act like this is the only MLB city that deals with inclement weather in April
@HerzogIND@jasonhum72@ColbyCohen36@Buccigross But that is a problem with the format. It's nearly impossible to select 4 different sites and place teams accordingly that will maximize attendance AND not screw over higher seeds. It's always been a problem and will not go away as long as this format is in place
@HerzogIND@ColbyCohen36@Buccigross I don't see how the current format helps those teams, and I don't see how a new format would hinder them in any way. Having home ice is not even that big of an advantage in hockey, but it does create a fun environment and these kids want to play in that
@HerzogIND@ColbyCohen36@Buccigross DU would not have had home ice yesterday and they would not have had home ice in either of the regional games they played last year. If they switch to the format he's calling for and they get home ice in a given year, it will be because they earned it
@LetsGoDU Are they going to move Cornell since they would matched up with Dartmouth in the first round? I was thinking they might get swapped with Wisconsin
@JWP303@RyanKoenigsberg Monfort is not a good businessman. He's been primary owner since 2005 and still not close to having the net worth of a billionaire. Over the years if he would have allowed a competent baseball person to make decisions with the same payroll, team would win more and bring in more $
@HarterTwil33868@korn_032002@Ken_Rosenthal@Britt_Ghiroli@AkronJackson He's worked in MLB front offices for a number of different teams. It's the Cleveland Browns who had the bright idea to hire him to make football decisions (which wasn't working out). So the Rockies are bringing him back in baseball where he has all of his experience.
@Denvrfan2012@TroyRenck The last time they went to the postseason in 2018, they went 44-38 on the road. If they put a good team together, they can win games away from Coors.
@therealbonix@redwardsradio No they weren't. If he wouldn't have used the timeouts, yes the clock would have run down a bit, but they weren't in field goal range yet, so they would not have bled it all the way down. The time to use the timeouts was after they picked up the final first down and before the FG
