@meadows264 I remember math and science working hand in hand together during K-12 school. It was really fun when we got to grow plants and then come up with an equation to estimate how tall the plant was going to get over a certain period of time based on previous growth rates. #osuelemmath

@meadows264 My favorite activity in my 2nd grade classroom was when we would pick one number each day and write it on the board. Then, 2-3 students would get to go up to the board and call on others to say out loud how to represent that number in dif ways (i.e. 20+5, a quarter. 100-75, etc.)

@meadows264 Like many of you have also said, I remember my mom teaching me about decimal points to help me figure out percentage off of clothes. The first time she told me that I could calculate 20% off of an amount by moving the decimal to the left one and multiplying it by 2 I was amazed
