Many Zimbabweans are returning home from South Africa, carrying with them the weight of disrupted lives and urgent health needs.

In Parliament yesterday during Q&A, I asked the Minister of Health the measures that are in place to ensure our returning citizens living with HIV have uninterrupted access to treatment from ARV supply to continuity of care and regional coordination. Zimbabwean citizens deserve dignity, safety and the right to live without fear of treatment gaps. Our health system must be ready to welcome them home . [SUSPENDED EMPD DEPUTY CHIEF JULIUS MKHWANAZI THROWN UNDER THE BUS BY ACCUSED IN 14 MILLION PRECIOUS STONES THEFT]

Two of the accused in the 14 million rand precious stones theft in 2023 have thrown suspended EMPD Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi under the bus.
EMPD official Adrian MacKenzie and former EMPD official Kersha Leigh Stols in their bail applications said they were acting on Mkhwanazi's instructions to hand over the stones to Witness K who testified before Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, that she and Mkhwanazi knew about the robbery which was under the false pretense of a legitimate police operation.
Earlier, charges were withdrawn against the other accused, private security boss Ettiene Van Der Walt after representations were made to the DPP.
