@Pontifex Your Holiness,
Would you spend a word for the workers at St. John's University, where the President and the Provost announced last week that they are no longer recognizing the unions? What happened to Rerum Novarum?

@Grace4NY@yuhline : Would you also like to comment on this? St. John's University's President and Provost are no longer recognizing the unions.

We at St. John's need your support. Your support would mean a lot to us.
@BabatundeOPaul@KamounLab@SciReports This is why I stopped reviewing articles for journals that are for-profit. If you make $ out of the work of reviewers, you should pay them as editors.
Congratulations to the awesome #undergraduate student in my lab Chris Beauvil for being awarded the Dr. Charles W. Lacaillade Memorial Award ๐ at this year's Dean's Convocation ceremony at @stjohnsartssci, @StJohnsU!
Wonderful attendance for Student Research Conference 2025 at @StJohnsU!
My lab presented a poster on #RNAsplicing of voltage-gated #potassium channels Kv7.2 #KCNQ2 and Kv3.3 #KCNC3. Students Amatun Noor Prapty & Chris Beauvil presented. Thank you @NIH@NIGMS for funding!
@DaniBeckman I would have thought they had enough data to assess safety by now. I mean, 1,216,000 deaths in the US from COVID, 270,000,000+ (>80% of the population) have received at least 1 dose of vaccine. Not enough data for a risk vs. benefit assessment?
